Laughtercise is a combination of laughter and exercise (hence the very clever name).
It harnesses the wonderful benefits of laughter and puts them into a fun and social wellness session. It’s a wonderful way to stay connected, to give your mental well-being a boost, have a little workout and to have some fun.
Each session (on zoom or in-person) kicks off with some warm up exercises and deep breathing that will prepare you for the fun ahead. Joyful laughter comes pretty quick as everyone starts seeing and hearing each other giggle. It’s then on to some laughter exercises that will get real hearty laughter going. You just laugh, chuckle and giggle for the fun of it. And it’s really easy to get into. At the end of each session there is a focus on deep breathing techniques to ensure the full well-being effect of laughter is secured.
