Everyone's welcome to join this online seminar covering the importance of mindfulness and the positive wellbeing it brings to our lives. Hosted by Aaron Betesta, ownder of Laughtercise UK - you will cover:
- What mindfulness is. It's a mindset. It's not complicated. Anyone can do it. Opportunities for mindfulness are all around us in each daily routine
- The mindfulness journey
- Three basic stretches to help with tightness caused by bad posture (sitting at desk) alongside breathing techniques.
- 'Kettle mindfulness time' - while the kettle boils, do some stretching, shake your muscles, be playful, do a breathing technique etc.
- The importance of breathing and awareness with techniques you can try
- The importance of winding down at the end of the day with mindfulness; setting aside at least 15mins before bedtime to 'prepare the body and mind for sleep'
Aaron is fully qualified in Laughter Yoga, Fitness Instructing and Personal Training. He was a personal trainer for two years and delivered stretching, nutrition, improved posture, wellbeing and meditation plans.
He has also self-studied meditation, psychology, wellbeing, nutrition and sleep over the past ten years.
