Drs Madeleine Duncan, Jennifer Creek and Kit Sinclair: Occupational Therapy Lecture Tour 2019

Dates:

From late February to early April 2019, three occupational therapists from three continents, Europe, Africa and Asia, will be presenting their work at occupational therapy departments and institutions of higher education around Europe. Drs Duncan, Creek and Sinclair are practitioners, researchers, theorists and educators and, together, they have amassed 150 years of experience in these fields.

Aims of the tour:

This lecture tour offers European occupational therapists opportunities to think broadly about their professional identity, practice, theory, research and education. Sessions are designed to support participants in identifying and framing what occupational therapists are doing in Europe and what they could be doing, in the light of current global issues, global policies and sustainability. The main aim is to increase occupational therapists’ awareness of the range of possibilities for how they practise as well as where they practise.
