*Guest Speaker* Helen Brown - "Fragile: this way up ??" A potted journey from crap A levels to Doctoral Researcher
Helen is an academic - and that's not something she ever thought she would say! This talk is an opportunity to share in Helen's career journey from lettuce picker to Senior Lecturer and Doctoral Researcher. Gain insight from her experiences, the ups and the downs, the fun times and the sad times, to understand how, sometimes, to progress all we need is focus, determination and sheer bloody mindedness. The talk will conclude with an overview of Helen's current research project and some thoughts about future directions.
This presention will benefit anyone who wants a bright future, is interested in research / PHD and patient housing!
