Sign up for the Equestrian club team trials to showchase your skills to potentially be selected onto one of our BUCS Teams competing against other Universities!
Trials To be held on Tuesday 5th October 9-1. Each rider will be given their riding slot after the trial application deadline.
We have two BUCS teams competiting in the championship and trophy leagues, respectively. BUCS competitions involve both a dressage test and a show jumping course on a horse that is drawn out of a hat that you only have 7 minutes on before competing- very exciting! Each team has 4 riders and if selected onto teams, there will be regular training and fitness sessions that you will be expected to attend.
We also have a friendly league team that follows the same rules and format as BUCS competitions but without the competitive pressure! Perfect for independent riders looking to get back into competitions!
In order to trial, you must confidently and competently be able to walk, trot, canter and jump a course 80cm minimum. You must also have a club membership.
