Athletics

Derby University’s Athletics team is comprised of students across all academic years specialising in Short/Middle/Long Distance running, Hurdles and Shot Putt with facilities also for Discuss, Javelin, High Jump, Long Jump & Triple Jump. We compete in BUCS Indoor Championships, BUCS Outdoor Championships, BUCS Cross Country Championships.

Membership of £10 covers the costs of

• Entries to BUCS events.
• Acsesss to social events.
• University vests.
• UOD social runs.
• Contributes to travel to BUCS events.

For athletes that require coaching it's recommended that you join Derby AC as a first or second club. You will have to make your own way to the Moorways stadium, you can catch the following busses to the stadium (2, 2B and 4).
