WELCOME TO THE UNIVERSITY OF DERBY BUSINESS SOCIETY

WHO ARE WE? 

We're relaunching the Business Society for 2024/25 to help YOU gain invaluable experience and skills in preparation for grad roles and/or internships!
We want to offer a wide range of sessions and events to empower all students (not just business school students) with opportunities to gain new skills, widen your horizons and meet likeminded individuals.

We are a friendly and inclusive community and we welcomed students from all courses who are interested in business, marketing or entrepreneurship.

MEMBERSHIPS & PRICES:

Business Society membership is free for the entire year. However there may be events where we charge an additional fee, such as our balls and external social events. However, we will do our very best to keep costs down for our members.

EVENTS:

We have an action-packed year ahead, with a number of events planned, such as:
-Social events
-Networking
-Guest Speakers
-Collaboration
-Skills and Careers Workshops
-Liberation Month Events
-> And so much more!

No event where additional payment is expected will be mandatory, and so how much you invest into the society is entirely up to you. We encourage all students whose financial hardship may limit attendance to get in touch - we wish for everyone to be able to benefit from this society and be as inclusive and accessible as possible.
