Creative Arts Who are we? We are the official Creative Arts society here at the University of Derby! Are your notes full of spontaneous sketches or scribbles? Is creativity a big part of who you are? Or are you simply someone who wants to dip their feet into a new hobby? No matter your level of ability or passion, we’re excited to welcome you into our society and can’t wait to see where your creativity takes you! Important Dates GIVE IT A GO's We have three taster sessions held at Britannia Mill, so that you can get a feel of what to expect and who you might meet! Every GIAG is in room BM114*. 20th September 2025 (Saturday) 15:00 - 18:00 (BM114) 24th September (Wednesday) 15:00 - 18:00 (BM114) 26th September (Friday) 16:00 - 19:00 (BM114) *On some advertisements we have said it's in room BM117 - that is a mistake! We'll be there to guide you on the day though, so don't worry about getting lost. Our regular sessions are every Wednesday and Friday from 16:00 - 19:00! They are in BM117 (Britannia Mill). What to expect? Our goal is for our regular sessions to be a space where everyone is able to engage in the arts of their choice. We provide the materials (though you're welcome to bring your own!) and you bring your creativity. Wednesdays are our 'chill sessions' where you can do your own thing surrounded by likeminded people, having a chat while we create. While on Fridays we aim to host more art-focused games like Gartic Phone, Drawful (Jackbox) or One Word Story! We hope to see you at our Give it a Go's - make sure to get a ticket (they're free!)
