Welcome to the Geolsoc!

We are a friendly and active group for anyone with an interest in the Earth, whether you're a geology student or just curious about rocks, fossils, and the world beneath our feet. Our society is all about bringing people together through both social and academic events.

What we do:

• Socials & Pub Crawls🍻 - get to know the group in a relaxed and fun environment.

• Quizzes & Game Nights 🎳 - test your Earth science and general knowledge skills (prizes for the winners!).

• Trips and excursions 🥾- step out into the field - from local day trips to bigger adventures, we love to explore geology in the real world.

• Guest Lecturers 🧑‍🏫- Find out more about current research in Earth Sciences and meet the experts in their field.

• Workshops 🖋️- Experiment with new skills - from fossil sketching nights to make your own pizza nights.

Whether you're here to deepen your geological knowledge, meet new people, or just enjoy a good night out, there's something for everyone. No experience is needed - just bring your enthusiasm!

Join us and become part of a society that digs deeper (literally).
