Sometimes you're not 100% sure on whether you'll fit in, or enjoy, something. We understand, and our Communities understand. To help you get a taste of what's on offer, and to have a chance to try out something new without having to fully commit, we bring you Give It A Go sessions - or GIAGs as they're known to some.

And remember, this year your Vice President (Activities) has set up a scheme to help those of you that are a bit weary of attending something new on your own. You can book a buddy to attend a Community with you, to help you with any anxiety you may have or just to boost your confidence with trying something new. Check out the scheme, and book your buddy

Christian Union GIAG - Church Search: 17th September 7pm - 8:30pm; Cavendish Building - Atrium; Meet churches from across Derby, hear what they’re about and find one that could feel like home. There’ll be friendly faces, freebies and plenty of opportunities to chat!

Christian Union GIAG - Equip: 24th September 7pm - 8:30pm; One Friar Gate Square - Union Social Space; Come and Give It A Go! Our first regular CU night is a chance to meet people, see what we’re about and get involved — whether you’re a Christian, curious about faith, or just looking for some new friends.
