Mature Students ✨ Hey there! ✨ Thanks for checking out our Mature Student community, we are so glad you’re here! 💙 So, who exactly are Mature Students? UCAS defines a mature student as: Anyone going to university or college after a period of time out of full-time education. Typically, this will mean students who are over 21 at the beginning of their undergraduate studies, or over 25 at the beginning of their postgraduate studies. So… Have you returned to education after taking time out? Are you studying to advance your learning and career employability? Do you have a whole other career under your belt, and are now heading in a new direction? Are you retired and studying for your own enjoyment and self-development? Or maybe you are somewhere in-between? This group is all about bringing our mature students together; making connections and creating a space where everyone feels welcome. 🎉 We want to make sure this community works for everyone and so are open to suggestions for activities - and to being flexible with timings and online activities – to accommodate any family or other life commitments.
