Mature Students Welcome! This is a community that gives mature students a chance to meet, make friends and most importantly to feel inclusive and valued. We will be running a series of events throughout the year! I hope everyone is enjoying what they are studying and are doing well. Events Coffee meet up - Friday 13th November - 1 to 3 - social space Kedleston road Knit and natter - Wednesday November 18th - 4 to 6 - location tbc Nottingham christmas markets - Friday December 4th- Meet at Derby bus station at 4pm Other news Since being a student here i have sruggled to find a place to study in a peaceful enviroment till now! I have found there is a postgraduate room in cavendish a great space to work or hang out as mature students. Also there is a postgraduate room at the back of the library in kedleston and then in Friar gate there is a room on 5th floor which is where you can normally find me. All of which have been perfect. We are currently looking for a social secretary to look after our insta, set up a facebook page etc its a great thing for your cv and a great way to meet people if you are interested please email the community email address and either myself or Alex will pick it up.
