Padel University of Derby Padel Club Want to learn a new and upcoming sport in the UK? You have come to the right place. Open to all, come down and play Padel! All skill levels are welcome to join. Training sessions We offer weekly sessions on Mondays 3-4pm at S3 Padel, Derbion. Message for more information! Events Returners Only Session - 14th September 3pm-4pm. Welcoming back all of our returning members to have a session, on us, to get back into the swing of things and have a needed catch up. See you all then. Derbion Student Take Over - 17th September 3pm-7pm at S3 Padel, Derbion. Come and say hello, giving padel a try. Play Padel - 21st September 2pm-5pm at S3 Padel, Derbion. The union and S3 are hosting an event inorder to allow new and returning student the chance to give Padel a go for free. Future Events - We held a charity tournament last academic year raising money for Cancer Research Uk, an organisation close to our hearts. We aim to host another 2 tournaments this year, raising more money for charitly. Give it A Go dates: Wednesday 23rd September 2-3. Friday 25th September 1-2. More infomation to come. Aims We aim to take part in a local padel leauge. We aim to attend BUCs Padel Championship. We also will run social inter-club matches between members, as well as Wednesday night socials! Membership Details Standard membership (£) - Once purchased you will be able to attend all training sessions free of charge which includes court hire, rackets and balls. Please note, the union require all students to purchase the union fee of £20, this covers insurance and all money goes to the union.
