Volleyball Welcome to the UoD Volleyball Club! Whether you're looking to compete at a high level or just play for fun, UoD Volleyball is the perfect place to get involved. We're a fun, competitive, inclusive and supportive club with something for everyone! Our club has four teams competing in the BUCS leagues (2 Men's and 2 Women's) and a Social Team. Our Second Teams train once a week and our First Teams train twice a week and have two Strength & Conditioning sessions. They also get the chance to compete in the English National Volleyball League with Derby DARKSTAR, coached by Olympians Audrey Cooper and Maria Bertelli. Women's 1st: BUCS Premier Division Men's 1st: Midlands 1A Men's and Women's 2nd: Midlands 3 We also take part in the annual Bournemouth Beach Volleyball Tournament and go on Tour to Portugal! We are hosting Give It A Go sessions (GIAGs) at UoD Sports Centre to allow you to try out volleyball for free before deciding if the sport is for you! GIAGs: Friday 18th September, 5:30 - 7pm (Mixed Session) Monday 21st September, 7 - 8:30pm (Women) & 8:30 - 10pm (Men) Trials: Monday 28th September, 7 - 8:30pm (Women) & 8:30 - 10pm (Men) Training times: Monday: 7 - 8:30pm (W1 & W2) Monday: 8:30 - 10pm (M1 & M2) Thursday: 8:30 - 10pm (M1) Friday: 5:30 - 7pm (W1) Want to join the fun without competing?
