Your Union is beyond excited to announce that our comedy headliner is none other than hilarious legend Russell Kane!
Multi-award winning comedian, presenter, actor, author and scriptwriter Russell Kane is best known as the host of three series of BBC Three‘s Live At The Electric, regular appearances on BBC One’s Live At Apollo, BBC Three’s Unzipped, ITV2’s Celebrity Juice and I Am Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now.
Famed for his critically acclaimed tours Russell has been performing sell-out shows across the globe, has just published his first novel written, directed and starred in three plays and travelled the world with YouTube stars filming the new survival programme, Stupid Man, Smart Phone, which aired on BBC Three in 2016.
Russell has also captured the social media market by storm with his signature “Kaneings” videos.
This is an opportunity to see Russell perform his full tour set in an incredibly intimate, limited capacity event in the Freshers Village. This first release of tickets won’t be around for long so grab ‘em quick!

Important information: This is an outdoor event, table bookings are limited to a maximum of six people, who can be from up to six different households. You will be seated together at one table.
Capacity is limited, this is due to adhering to social distancing guidelines currently in place. Further tickets may be released prior to the event and therefore if tickets are sold out, you can join a mailing list to find out when further tickets will be placed on sale.
Tickets are only able to be purchased by University of Derby students. You are not able to buy tickets on behalf of guests who are not students of the University.
Tickets for tables of up to six people are available, names and student ID verification will be collected from all table guests on entry to the event. The minimum number of people we expect at each table is four, the maximum is six. Tickets sold as part of a table allocation cannot be resold individually.
By purchasing a ticket for this event you agree to not being bound by any current local lockdown restrictions in place at the time of booking.
On arrival at the event, temperature checks will be in place and you are asked to only attend if you are not experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
