Hi all, I’m Nate and I will be running for the position of social secretary. I have been a part of this society for almost three years now where I have enjoyed playing a multitude of games with you. I am currently the apex legends ambassador where due to the current rarity of NUEL or NSE apex tournaments I have had to be fairly creative with events such as creating challenges for people to do in-game to earn in-game rewards that were not attainable by conventional methods or running custom games earlier in the year. It is this creativity I want to bring to the social secretary role as now that the covid restrictions have been eased I aim to organize more in-person events. This will also be made easier as I will be in halls next year so I may be able to run some from the common room. However, this does not mean I plan on stopping online game nights as I plan for online events to be the more common occurrence with them being easier to attend. Game wise I plan to run a large variety of games Jackbox, Scribble it, G mod, Mario kart, smash bros, and more!
