Leadership Residential Weekend

PLEASE NOTE THE DATE HAS CHANGED! (Now on the 28th - 30th Sept)

So, you have heard me talk about the Societies Leadership Residential that is taking place at the startof September. Here are the facts and figures for you.

When:

We will be leaving Kedleston Road at approx. 4pm Friday 28^th September via minibus and will return approx. 5pm Sunday 30th September again via mini bus.

Where:

We will be staying at one of our RAG charities for last year sites in Ashbourne. The Charity is called Chicks here is there website https://www.chicks.org.uk/. They have very kindly let us use their site during this weekend as their work is done during the week.

What we will provide:

All your food plus enough tea and coffee for the weekend.

Bedding

Activities for the weekend (Trust us you won’t get bored)

A 2 year food hygiene certificate (That must be completed online before the trip)

What you will need to bring:

Any food you want to snack on.

Enough clothes and footwear. (Including clothes and footwear suitable for being outside when it is raining/ cold) There is a Laundry room if you NEED to wash and dry something.

Something to entertain you in times when we are not doing activities. (There are not many of these and you can always talk to each other ??)

A small amount of cash *Optional*

Things not to bring:

Laptop (there is no wifi on site and no phone signal)

Anything expensive that cannot be replaced easily if lost, damaged or stolen.

Anything very large. Space on the minibus is very limited and space where we are staying is also not huge.

Who is it for:

The weekend has been designed for all society committee members to join us for this weekend. Places are extremely limited, I cannot stress enough there has been a lot of interest in this weekend and we expect all the places to go very fast.RAG and Phantom committee members are also very welcome to come.

Why:

We want to develop you as leaders. We have tailor made this weekend’s activities with you all in mind and you should come away not only having had a lot of fun but also being more aware of what kind of leader you are and how you can be a stronger leader in the future.

Cost:

The total cost to you is £22. That includes your travel, accommodation, food and all activities. It also includes a 2-year food hygiene certificate which must been completed before the trip. (It can be done online in your own time)

You will be asked to fill in a form once your purchase is complete please fill that in asap. It lets us know what dietary requirements or any other access needs you have so we can take that in to account.
