Market Day

Here at the Union, we love to support local businesses, especially ones that bring great products or services to our students. Whether you want some delicious international cuisine, discounted products from some well-known brands or scrummy baked goods, our market traders have it all.

We specifically choose businesses that have something to offer our students and who enjoy engaging with them face-to-face. Creating a sense of community is key to our culture here at Derby, and highlighting the importance of supporting local businesses is a big message we want to send to all. We have regular stalls who have built great rapport and we also welcome new traders that want offer something different. Whether it’s a pick-me-up or a much needed distraction from studies, our students continue to support and enjoy our market traders.
