POSTPONED Student exclusive: Tree of Light

**THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED**

Derby Cathedral is inviting students to write a message of kindness and love, for a suggested donation of £3, that will be displayed on a beautiful Tree of Light in the Cathedral during the Christmas period.

We welcome everyone to take some time away from the hustle and bustle at this time of year and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Cathedral building for reflection, remembrance and light.  Donations raised from the Tree of Light will go towards the ministry of the Cathedral which includes work to help refugees and asylum seekers. As a Cathedral of Sanctuary, Derby Cathedral is committed to helping those in our communities who are lonely and vulnerable at all times of year. You can donate online prior to visiting us here.

The Derby Cathedral Tree of Light will be displayed inside the Cathedral and visitors are very welcome to come in, write a message and see the tree in place between 4th December to 6th January.

This is an exclusive opportunity for all students; Clubs, Societies, reps, Officers and committee members, to have a good look around the Cathedral, write a message on a christmas tag to put onto the Tree of Light and enjoy the building.  

University of Derby and Union of Students staff are also very welcome.
