We are excited to launch a new sport into the halls programme – touch rugby! Get ready to take on other students living in halls of residence and show them which halls is best. The tournament promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with camaraderie and sportsmanship – get to know those living in your halls.
Where: Lower 3G Pitch, Kedleston Road Campus
When: Wednesday 29th November
Time: 5pm-7pm (uni buses run until 9:40pm!)
It’s your time to shine! Not played touch rugby before – no problem. We will have qualified coaches there to support you and who will provide a warmup that includes rules and guidance information before matches commence. The Union of Students Women’s Rugby club are also running a learn to touch rugby, 6-week training programme on Mondays 6pm-7:30pm that you can get involved in. Visit their webpage to get involved and to find their contact details. Simply turn up, it’s free – taking place on the lower 3G pitch.
Gather your friends and form a team or sign up as an individual and we'll match you with fellow students from your halls!
To sign up to the competition:

- Create an account using your university email address.
- Join the Halls Sports Community
- Join the team that represents your halls of residence e.g., Darley Bank Touch Rugby
