Derbyshire Dales Walk & Tissington Well Dressings

Join the Chaplaincy’s free trip to celebrate Faith and Belief Month! 

We’ll be leaving the Multi-Faith Centre at 11.30am for a walk in the Derbyshire Dales (up to 4 miles), followed by a visit to the village of Tissington to see the famous Well-Dressings. These are an ancient Derbyshire custom. People make beautiful pictures, often with a Biblical theme, from flowers and other natural materials, to thank God for the gift of water.  We’ll be back at the Multi-Faith Centre for 6.30pm.
