The Big Union Jam

Join us to celebrate the end of the academic year with The Big Union Jam!

We'll be hosting a free BBQ, inflatable games and music, everything you need to finish the academic year with a bang! This event is open to all students, so bring your friends, course mates and house mates along to join in the fun.

You will need to purchase a free wristband in order to access the BBQ, which can be purchased on this page. If you have claimed your free wristband, you can collect it from your VP (Education) Holly in the Atrium on Thursday 23rd at lunch time - keep an eye on our Instagram stories for exact times @derbyunion.

There are only 200 wristbands available, so buy yours now to avoid missing out on the FREE BBQ. Please note, that you do not need a wristband to access the other activities, this is just for the free BBQ.

PLEASE NOTE: if you have any dietary requirements, please inform a member of staff when you collect your wristband.

!!! EVENT UPDATE !!!

Unfortunately due to the severe weather concerns forecasted for Thursday 30th, the Big Union Jam has now been changed and brought indoors. The event will still run from 1.00pm - 4.30pm however will now be situated in the Atrium where we will have Live music throughout the day from Musician & Band and Musical Theatre. There will be free Hotdogs and fully loaded ice cream (while stocks last), we have some fun interactive games such as Basketball shoot a hoop and table tennis, and there will be plenty of chill out areas. 

Please still come and join us to celebrate the end of term and also those who have just finished their exams - it's still an amazing achievement and reason to celebrate even if the weather unfortunately has changed our plans slightly!
