Visit My Mosque – Open Day

Visit My Mosque is an opportunity to step inside Derby Islamic Centre, meet members of the local Muslim community and experience the mosque beyond what may be seen or heard from a distance.

During your visit, you will be able to:

• Take a guided tour of the mosque and learn about its architecture, history and development
• Learn about Muslim prayer, the Qur’an and the fundamental beliefs and practices of Islam
• Explore some of the beliefs, values and traditions shared across the Abrahamic faiths
• Discover the educational, charitable and community services provided by Derby Islamic Centre
• Meet our Imam, volunteers and members of the congregation
• Ask questions and have open, informal conversations about Islam and Muslim life in Britain
• Join us for complimentary tea and refreshments

People of all faiths and none are welcome, and visitors may arrive at any time between 12:00pm and 4:00pm. No booking is required.
