On Monday 16th November we will be holding our next Union Meeting in the social space at OFG
Our Executive Officers will be updating students on work towards their priorities and students can ask them questions and hold them to account through the scrutiny session.
We will be taking applications for funding from the Student Leader fund from our communities and reps before the meeting, and then these bids will be presented and open for voting by other Student Leaders.
We’ll also be holding a student safety focus group to hear your views on safety at Union nights, travelling to and from campus, reporting safety concerns, and what could be done to make students feel safer. Your experiences and ideas will help shape the Union’s priorities and inform our work with the University and Derby City Council to improve student safety on campus and in the city.
You don't need to be a rep, community member or Union expert to come along. If you're a Derby student, your voice belongs in the conversation. We look forward to seeing you there!
