Student Support Drop-In: Support Plans and Disabled Students Allowance

A drop-in session ran by the University of Derby Disability Team and Student Support Team, they will be there covering a range of topics including: DSA, Support Plans, Quick Screen, Support matching and general awareness of the support options.
This is an event for Wobble Week which has been organised by Kaeda your VP (Welfare), and it is being ran by the University of Derby Disability Team and Student Support Team.
This drop-in session will help students with learning differences or suspected learning differences understand what the University of Derbys offer for support is, and will cover topics such as:
- Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA): What it is, who’s eligible, and how to apply.
- Support Plans: How tailored academic support is arranged and what it can include.
- QuickScreen: A free screening tool to help identify potential learning differences.
- Support Matching: Guidance on connecting with the right services and resources.
- Awareness & Access: Learn about the full range of disability support available at the university, and how to get started.
