Come along to a relaxed and welcoming space where we’ll be chatting all about why pronouns matter and how they help create a more respectful and inclusive campus community. Everyone is welcome here students and staff alike! This gathering is all about making sure everyone feels seen, supported, and understood, whether you’re someone who already uses pronoun badges, someone who’s curious about them, or someone who just wants to learn more in a friendly environment.
We’ll start with an open conversation about the importance of pronouns, how they relate to identity, and why using the right ones makes such a difference to people’s everyday experiences. There’s no expectation for you to come in knowing everything (or anything). This is a space to ask questions, share thoughts, or simply listen if you prefer.
During this chat we will have resources ready so if you want to begin making your badge as we talk then you are able to do so! You can make badges for yourself, for a friend, or just for fun. It’s a great way to express yourself and help normalise pronoun sharing across the University community.
You’re welcome to bring lunch, bring a friend, or just drop by on your own. This event is all about creating a sense of connection, celebrating identity, and giving everyone the chance to learn something new in a comfortable setting.
