Assessments can be intense, so Destresstival Week is here to help you slow down, breathe, and look after yourself. Running across all campuses, Destresstival offers low pressure, drop in activities designed to help you unwind during the assessment period.

Whether you stay for five minutes or an hour, everyone is welcome.

Relax with simple, calming colouring activities. No pressure, no expectations.

🪨 Make a Worry Stone
Create and decorate your own worry stone using fast drying clay. Something small to keep with you when stress creeps in.

🎲 Board and Card Games
Play a quick game with friends or meet someone new. We’ll have board games, playing cards, and easy to follow game guides for all group sizes.

🧠 Wellbeing and Mental Health Resources
Pick up information and leaflets from trusted organisations offering mental health and destressing support.

🧘 Grounding and Destress Takeaways
Free printed sheets with grounding exercises and practical tips you can use anytime.

🌿 Mindfulness and Meditation Board
Simple, visual prompts to help you pause, breathe, and reset.

📱 Meditation and Prayer QR Codes
Explore meditation and prayer resources via QR codes provided by the Multi Faith Centre. These can be accessed whenever you need them.

💬 Friendly Check Ins
Staff will be around for informal chats if you fancy one. This could be about how you’re feeling, managing assessment stress, or finding the right support. There is no judgment, just support.
