This is a lunch‑style workshop designed to be friendly and engaging, whether you already use AI, haven’t tried it yet, or feel unsure about what is and isn’t allowed when using AI in your assessments.
Alongside games and fun activities, you’ll see a live demonstration of AI in action, highlighting practical ways students can use it to:
- plan and structure assignments
- understand challenging concepts
- improve drafts
We’ll also explore what generative AI is, its strengths, and its limitations.
The session includes time for questions, discussion and clear signposting to support from Union of Students' Advice Team and Develop@Derby.
