On Friday, 2nd May 2025, UDWRFC will be hosting a 5K charity fun run/walk. It will be located at Sturgess Field (behind The Jonty Farmer - 147 Kedleston Road, Derby, DE22 1FT) and the route is posted on our Instagram (@udwrfc). Our charity of choice is the British Heart Foundation (225971), to spread awareness about what this foundation does and the benefits. 80% of all donations will be going towards this charity, whereas the other 20% will be going towards our club to cover the costs of running the event.
The theme is fancy dress, so we hope to see everyone in some creative outfits!
Please try to arrive no later than 11:30am, as the run/walk will begin at 12pm.
The Union shop has kindly donated water bottles for our water station, which will be stationed in the middle of the field.
We will have marshals to help guide everyone to the correct location so there is no confusion.
A first aid point will also be set up in case of incidents; members of our team have kindly volunteered to participate.
The cost of the tickets is:
1 person is £5
2 people is £8
A group of 3 is £10
If you are unable to buy your ticket now, you are also able to pay on the day!
