About our Videographer, Dan

Dan is the in-house videographer for the Students’ Union marketing team, creating video content across campaigns, events, and digital platforms.

He works across everything from promotional videos and live events to interviews and social media content; with a focus on making content feel natural and engaging.

Outside of filming, Dan’s a big dog lover and enjoys travelling, especially when it means meeting new people and hearing their stories. That curiosity carries into his work, helping him get the best out of contributors and create videos that feel genuine rather than scripted.

Whether it’s helping someone feel comfortable on camera or capturing the energy of an event, his approach is simple: keep things relaxed, work collaboratively, and create something that really represents you.

The Process

Initial Consultation

We start with a quick conversation to understand your goals, audience, and how the video will be used. This helps shape the best approach for your project.

Quote & Project Outline

You’ll receive a clear quote outlining:

scope and deliverables
pricing
estimated timeline

Once approved, we’ll move forward with booking.

Booking & Deposit

To secure your project, we’ll issue a contract and a 25% deposit invoice. Filming dates are confirmed once this is completed.

Pre-Production Planning

For larger or more detailed projects, we’ll plan logistics such as filming locations, timings, and contributors to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Filming

We capture all footage using professional equipment, working efficiently and with minimal disruption to your business or event.

Editing & Delivery

You’ll receive a first draft by the agreed deadline, including one round of revisions.

Draft videos may include a watermark. Final versions are delivered once the project is completed and payment is finalised.
