The first ever Union Activities Awards are a way to celebrate the fantastic achievements of all of our Sports clubs, Societies and Student-Led Services. It will be a chance for us to highlight the fantastic things our student groups have managed to do this academic year. We're asking committee members to submit your achievements and award nominations for the event and winners will be announced on the night. Feel free to create online watch parties and watch the ceremony together. It's a time to celebrate the achievements of one another in what has been a very different year!

What happens next and how do I nominate?

We'll be sending a link to all of our Club, Societies and Student-Led Services email accounts and from there we're asking you all to complete the Awards submission document within the folder and upload photos and videos that you might want to share with us. We can't guarantee that we'll be able to show everything on the night but we'll do our best to highlight as much as possible! Please follow the instructions on the email around the guidance on uploading your documents. Keep an eye on your inboxes too as we might be in touch with some of you asking you to submit a recording where you tell us more about a particular event or success that might be shown on the night.

The awards will be decided by an awards panel using the submission document that come through but there are also a few specific awards that are up for nomination for students to put themselves or individuals forward for and all will be announced during the event.

Nominations open 1st April and close on the 4th May.

Make sure you mark your calendars for Wednesday 26th May. You will be able to watch via the Activites Awards Page, or follow us on Facebook, to join us live on the night.
