University of Derby students can claim 10% off all Screamfest tickets this month, offering a frighteningly fun night out.

The popular Halloween scream park, which attracts over 28,000 visitors every year, has added over 5 acres of scares to provide plenty of shocks, frights and laughs to make the frightful season go with a bang.

Based at the National Forest Adventure Farm, in Tatenhill, near Burton expect alien invasions, psychotic circus acts, zombies, demons and a blood thirsty landlord in search of revenge in this year’s terrifying line up.

The immersive gore filled attraction, which will run for 16 nights during October, includes more live actors than ever before, two new for 2023 scares taking it to a total of 7 onsite attractions, a new for 2023 Mega ‘Death’ Slide – the UK’s longest Mega Slide which has been enhanced with lights, music and effects for a terrifying twist, as well as a new for 2023 VIP area for those looking for an extra special night out.

Using code DERBYUNISCREAM23 students can get reduced tickets to the attraction which includes new for 2023 AREA 52 where, armed with mega blasters and a 5-acre deserted containment area, you are tasked with eradicating the threat and saving the farm from a deadly alien invasion.

Psycho Circus is a haunting live show where you witness the trapped souls perform in the hope of redemption, just don’t find yourself sucked into their nightmare!

Five fan favourites will also return to complete the line up including nightmare inducing Insomnia, crazed clown maze Freakout on Tour, Hillbilly Joes Zombie Zoo and gore infested Creed Farm.

Back by popular demand Love Hurts will also make an unexpected comeback as Professor Heart refuses to leave the sickest speed dating night in town and returns to the farm for vengeance.

There will also be live music, extreme fright acts, fairground rides, street food stalls and a licensed bar, with new for 2023 fire breathers and appearances from Flexus Dance Troupe with their haunting routine ‘Darkness of the Pearl’!

Tickets include unlimited access to 6 scares – Insomnia, Creed Farm, Freakout on Tour, Love Hurts, Hillbilly Joe’s Zombie Zoo and Psycho Circus as well as all onsite live entertainment with AREA 52 and the Mega ‘Death’ Slide charged separately.

The evening event starts on Saturday 7th October, and will be open for selected dates until Tuesday 31st October. Fairground rides, street food and a bar are also available.

Screamfest is a scary experience and not recommended for under 16s. Under 16s will not be admitted without an 18+ year responsible adult and must be supervised at all times. Tickets start from £26 (plus a £1.50 booking fee) with a £10 per person charge for access to AREA 52 and a charge of £2 for the Mega ‘Death’ Slide.
