We've got an ASM coming up, and you may be wondering what that is.... Well wonder no more! This article will tell you everything you need to know about the ASM from how to get involved to why it's important to attend.

What?

An ASM is an All Student Meeting; we hold them at least once a year to provide updates on the Union and our Executive Officer team, as well enabling students to vote on any proposals for changes to our policies and how we run.

Why?

It's important to attend these meetings and have your say on how the Union runs, because we exist to represent you! By voting on proposals and using your voice, you can influence the the ways we support you during your studies. We want our services (events, student-led communities, feedback channels, our Advice service and more!) to reflect the current needs and wants of our students, and this is a great opportunity for you to tell us to hear how we can improve to better support you!

When and where?

This ASM will be held on Wednesday 24th September 2025, between 1.00pm - 3.30pm in B302 at our Kedleston Road campus.
