Go Green Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of the importance of sustainability.

Between 13th-17th March there are lots of ways you can get involved!

To kick off the activities on Monday 13th March, we have a student-led litter pick around the University. All plastic bottles that are collected will be donated to the student project ‘Plastic Fantastic’ and converted in usable items.

On Wednesday 15th March, there is a Sustainability Fair in the atrium where there will be information stands, a clothes/book/seed swap and free bike maintenance. Don’t forget to bring your bike and your unwanted clothes/books/seeds!

To end the week, we are taking part in the Big Switch Off. All University and Union staff will be asked to turn off everything before heading home on Friday to see how much carbon we can save.
