Derby has so much to offer to enhance your university experience – from stunning nature to shopping centres, thrilling activities to the best club nights around, your time here will be filled with so much joy! Not only does the city have a lot on offer, but the Union does too, such as:

- A free advice service for all students
- The opportunity to raise your voice and represent students
You can catch us at the Welcome Day, 1.00pm – 5.00pm on Saturday 13th September at the Cavendish Building, which will be your first introduction to the university.
Then we’ll be hosting our Freshers’ Fair on the 16th and 17th of September, where you can learn all about the Union and what we can offer you to enhance your student experience – you’ll also be able to meet all of our Communities and find out which ones you’d like to join!
