Derby Creative Arts Network (CAN) Consultation session 

A new project led by Derby Theatre, in partnership with a consortium of organisations from Derby and beyond, working and consulting with the community, to programme work in local settings…on the main stage at the Theatre and at a range of outdoor spaces and festivals across the city.

Derby CAN Spill the Beans

  • Have your say….we want to hear your thoughts
  • What would you like to see and happen in Derby?
  • What kind of creative events would you like to see happening at the weekend for people in the city and community to get involved in?
  • Would you like to see more exciting creative projects being developed and taking place in your community?

To discuss these questions and much more, we would love to hear your thoughts and ideas, so we invite you to join us for one of the following sessions:


Open Public session on Monday 2 March

6.00 - 8.30pm at Derby Theatre, Intu, Derby

During each session…

The sessions will be an opportunity for you to; 

  • Hear more about the project, work done so far and initial ideas.
  • Share your thoughts and feelings on some of our plans.
  • Talk to us about your ideas on what else we should be doing
  • Provide us with your ideas and advice about how we might overcome some of the barriers for people engaging in the programme.
  • Find out how you can get involved 

As a thank you…

…for joining us and sharing your thoughts, FREE food will be available at each session, and we will also offer a FREE theatre ticket to each person who join us.
