Staff and students have the opportunity to be involved in the design and planning process for the University's new Business School as part of a consultation exercise taking place.

The proposed development, set to be built on land adjacent to the University's One Friar Gate Square building in the city centre, is due to open in 2024 and is projected to be the study base for over 6,000 students by 2030.

The University welcomes your views on the emerging proposals ahead of the submission of a planning application to Derby City Council in early 2022.

A hosted display of the consultation material will be held in the Atrium at Kedleston Road from 11.00am–1.00pm and One Friar Gate Square from 3.00pm–7.00pm on Thursday 2nd of December. The event at One Friar Gate Square is also open to members of the public.

If you are unable to attend the event, the consultation material will be available to view and comment upon online from Monday 29th November until midnight on Sunday 12th December, via the Univeristy's website.
