Ask for Angela is a nationally recognised initiative that allows people to discreetly ask for help from venue staff if they feel unsafe when on a date or night out.
The idea behind the subtle code phrase is to allow people to alert venue staff to a potentially dangerous or threatening situation without the instigator’s knowledge.
The bar staff will be ready to call a taxi for you or help you get out of the situation safely.
