Time to be honest, 9am lectures are difficult to be one hundred percent ready for, whether you are running late and sprinting across campus, or trying to recover from that late Wednesday night.
Here is your go-to list for what to bring:
Whether you swear by handwritten notes or you love the idea of being digital, having a way of noting down those many slides is essential.
Do not make the mistake of bringing your phone on 10% like we have all done before. ALWAYS bring a charged phone whether that be in case of emergencies, timetabling checking or even a sneaky google search of that answer no one knows.
Depending on your course, there can be a lot of independent study time and doing that in silence can be so difficult. Also good for travelling to and from campus.
Nothing worse than being in a three-hour lecture with no break and begging for a drink, so packing a water bottle is key.
Similar to having a water bottle, always try and bring a snack. Nothing worse than having your stomach rumble in a silent room.
Or not. Some lecture rooms are 1000 degrees whilst others border on artic levels so always come prepared.
Freshers flu (for all of us) can come at the worst time, remember those tissues!
Whether you are a seasoned second or third year, or a fresher stepping into the University of Derby for the first time, make sure you are ready for your lectures.
