Market Days

Here at the Union of Students we love to support local businesses, especially ones that bring great products or services to our students. We showcase them in our Atrium via our market trader stalls and love the vibrant atmosphere they create. Whether you want some delicious sweet treats, or discounted products from some well-known brands, our market traders have it all. From driving lessons to vintage clothing, from stunning posters to meditation apps – they promise you varied and exciting products each month.

We specifically choose businesses that have something to offer our students and who enjoy engaging with them face-to-face. Creating a sense of community is key to our culture here at Derby, and highlighting the importance of supporting local businesses is a big message we want to send to all. We have regular stalls who have built great rapport and we also welcome new traders that want offer something different. Whether it’s a pick-me-up or a much needed distraction from studies, our students continue to support and enjoy our market traders.
