Book Club
Book Club is back baby!
We have even more exciting books, meetings and events planned for 2022/23!
We choose a new book theme each session and host a minimum of monthly meetings to talk all about it. We always love recommendations from our members to ensure everyone can get something out of the society. Each monthly theme will be chosen by a group vote and will include various genres; contemporary fiction, romance, poetry, horror, etc.
As well as our regular meetups, we're planning to host more events this year. From Book-Themed Pub Quizzes to World Book Day and Halloween Dress Up all the way through to Charity Book Sales. We plan to host events for all occassions and tastes!
We are looking to:

Encourage more people to read;

Create fun reading experiences;

Expand reading tastes (ours included, of course!);

Diversify reading;

Create a close community where we can talk about all the books we've read recently.
Whether you read every day and are interested in finding a new author or genre to love, or maybe read once a year on holiday and need an excuse to read more, this club will have something for you!
Meetings are held every Thursday at 5–6:30 at the Kedleston Road campus in room N409, unless otherwise indicated on our Instagram page, so make sure you come and join us!
