Welcome to DerbyUS Computing Society! We are here to provide a community to span the Computing courses, aiding discussion and collaboration in personal projects. We look to provide a fun and creative atmosphere for people to come out of their shells and communicate with others to ensure that they are ready for their future endeavours.
Society Aims
- Develop an inclusive environment for members to engage their creative skills through the design of games, software, and digital art.
- Host fun and entertaining events throughout the year to engage our society members with our staff members to promote discussion of research and interests.
- Act as a bridge between the students and the staff.
- Provide opportunities for non-Computing students to give making games/software a go.
