Give It a Go Days (GIAG)

If you've never rowed before and want to give the exciting sport of rowing a go then come along to one of our Give It a Go Days. We will be running three Give It a Go Days on Wednesday 23rd September, Saturday 26th September and Sunday 27th September. If you would like to attend a Give It a Go Day to see what rowing is like then click here to book onto a session. During the Give It a Go Sessions we will be teaching you the basics of rowing on the rowing machine. The skills learnt can then be transferred onto the water once regulations are lifted. For more information on the Give It a Go Days click on "Rowing Information and Training Plans" to the right of the screen.

Feel free also to come and say hello at freshers fair. We will be there on Wednesday 23rd September from 9am until 12pm.

Normal Sessions

For those who have previous experience of rowing normal sessions will commence on Wednesday 30th September. Come and say hello at the freshers fair for more information. We will be there on Wednesday 23rd September from 9am until 12pm. Alternatively you can email us:

From the 30th September we will be running three indoor rowing sessions a week along with three circuit sessions for new rowers. See our "Rowing Information and Training Plans" page at the right of the screen for more information.

The Social Side

At UODRC, we are not all work and no play. We hold regular social events for those who like to relax after a hard training session. We do all sorts of events as we look to get to know each other and other sports teams. More information can be found on our 'Rowing Events and Socials' page on the right of the screen.
