If students use cups that are reusable or have their own flasks/mugs/etc, would it be a great incentive to offer a discount of around 20% to encourage more students to do this? Or even a loyalty scheme of sorts where for every ten times you use your reusable mug, you get one beverage free?

10:41am on 18 Oct 18 If you use blends at ked road there is a discount for using your own mug. It’s 10p I believe. I assume the other Union drinks vendors do the same.

9:51pm on 22 Oct 18 Not all the vendors do give discount and there should be encouragement to use reusable cups and there should be more opportunity to purchase the cups at a reasonable price. I paid £8 for mine at Brit Mill last year but many students said that was too much. I don’t mind paying the price but is real change is going to happen there needs to be better incentives. The university can lead the way.

9:32pm on 23 Oct 18 Introducing a discount on drinks at Britannia mill would be great! I bought a reusable cup from there on the initial understanding that it meant a discount was then offered at each use, I have since learnt that they are not allowed to offer a discount, which is quite disgusting really! If it's Aramark Catering at all sites, have them implement the same procedures and pricing at each site.
