Make the security gates in the atrium a one way system

The security gates in the atrium are currently a free for all, meaning if for instance you happen to be trying to go out of uni when 3 bus loads of students are trying to come in, you'll struggle. This will be an issue for students who have evening lectures and are trying to get into the uni when most students are trying to get out. Through making the gates a one way system, flows in and out will be better managed.

7:17pm on 18 Oct 18 In general, they're a bit of a pain in the arse. Speedgates by name, but not by nature. They're unintuitive (i've had someone with sight issues complain it's difficult to know whee to scan), there seems to be little to no flow management, and the poor buggers in security seem to spend most of their time wandering over to try and get people through because the gates aren't working properly. It'll probably get better with time, but I fail to see how two small perspex doors are meant to keep wronguns out or improve safety for students.

4:54pm on 16 Nov 18 Hi there! The speedgates now have the one way system! Regarding other issues with the speedgates, there are now signs indicating where to tap your card, and we are having an on-going conversation with the Estates team about making them as accessible as possible to all students. Let me know if you have any more feedback! :)
