There are three already in the library on the first floor by the school of practice. These are very popular and are always full. Is it possible to have more of these?

2:08pm on 27 Oct 18 Yes more of them! Maybe could replace the awful exam-style study desks in Kedleston Road library on the top floor and lower ground

4:12pm on 6 Dec 18 Perhaps some of the single study pod rows at the back of the first floor could be replaced with more group pods or tables because there aren't enough tables either.

11:14am on 3 Apr 19 Hey! So, as part of the library co-creation project, we are looking at the types of spaces students like to study in. There are currently conversations ongoing around how we can change, shape and diversify the library space so that it best suits student needs. I will take this feedback and feed it into the working group! VP Education

9:45am on 12 Feb 20 PASSED & COMPLETE - the Union and the University have been working hard to identify and create new social learning, study and seating spaces, including individual study pods for students both within the library and outside it. Blends has been extended across the balcony in the Academy with more seating & power points than ever and the library have added more study areas and ad hoc seating, including individual study pods and bean bags. Enjoy your new study spaces :) [This idea will now be archived as passed]
