Now I know light pollution isn’t on the top of everyone’s agenda, but you might have noticed that the uni in perticular Ked Road is bright at night, too bright in my opinion. Do we really need the entire university lit up like a christmas tree? I’d like to see the university to look at their light/energy output and see if there’s anything that can be done to reduce the light pollution particularly at Ked road.

9:43pm on 27 Nov 18 It's not necessarily light pollution related, but i'm not sure if Derby publish any annual documentation regarding how green the campus is? It would be nice to receive frequent updates regarding how we're doing in terms of our eco-friendliness.

3:51pm on 28 Nov 18 So after a long search on the derby uni website I have come across a few things, they do have an environmental policy if you want to have a look though that https://www.derby.ac.uk/media/derbyacuk/assets/departments/estates/environment/documents/Environmental-Policy.pd and the Union has some information to. I think what you're saying is right though, I do think there needs to be a document clearly outlining how 'green' the uni is and what they' can do to be better with updates on how its going.

noon on 6 Feb 19 Agreed, it seems like an unnecessary use of energy.
