    Book tutorials to see module tutors

    We should be able to readily book individual appointments (as we do with our personal tutors) to organise tutorials with our module tutors if extra support is needed. This would be helpful if we need to consolidate our understanding in certain areas as sessions don't always provide these one-to-one opportunities.

8:32pm on 28 Feb 19 Consider asking your Student Rep to raise this at a Programme Committee Meeting or lobby your module leader directly. Our module leader proposed that staff participate in a “Bullpit” session, where lecturers would book a room out for a 3 hour slot and students could drop by to ask questions, raise concerns or have a good old rant/bitch about things. I thought this was a good idea, but it’s not been implemented yet due to the department being a bit overwhelmed at the minute. In general, our department operates off an “Open Door” policy. If we have issues, we can normally pop our head in their office and have a quick chat. These are both ideas you could try and get your peers to rally behind and put them forward to your module leader :)
