Do more to encourage green living

    Expired
    • Environment and Sustainability
I do not believe enough is being done by the university to encourage green living. I propose that the University invite guest speakers to raise awareness for environmental issues being faced in the modern world. Issues such as air pollution and switching to greener methods of transport. Many students will be exposing themselves to potentially toxic air zones when they travel to and from the University. Raising awareness is vital if we want to bring about change and guest talks would be a start.

12:19pm on 7 Oct 19 Also to sort out the recycling bins at the uni. The smaller ones do not hold much. Either get bigger ones or employ more cleaners to come and empty them more often. Also to make people aware more about bringing own cups into blends and not using cups as unsure if they are recyclable or not.
