    Disabled Parking

    There are only 3 disabled parking bays in the student car park on Kedleston Road. There needs to be more! Disabled students should not be parking further away if they arrive later on in the day, this is unfair. I was told I was not allowed to park where the buses are as I am not a wheelchair user.

3:02pm on 8 Oct 19 There are more round the back of kirtley hall and some near the union quarter as well as those in the main carpark. Also you can park opposite the bus stops with your blue badge. In all there are probably 30+ designated spaces.

1:50am on 30 Oct 19 You can’t get near the disabled parking round the back of the multifaith centre due to the ongoing works. The barrier is up right now on the car park across from the buses and the minibuses take up a fair bit of room. I agree - don’t time or right you going to struggle and the car park across from the buses seems to be full of people picking up and waiting in the car (as I have seen on a few occasions).
